Biggest Ever Medical Negligence Compensation Claim in Northern Ireland

Litigation Partner Joe Moore, a member of AVMA (Action Against Medical Accidents) and APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers), has recently completed the largest ever compensation claim arising from medical negligence in Northern Ireland.

This case involved injury sustained during childbirth, resulting in the child developing cerebral palsy. During the course of the delivery there was excessive delay and inappropriate use of Syntocinon.

The compensation award of £3.5 million was approved in the High Court and will allow the family to provide for the long term care of the child, in a purpose built home designed to the highest standard.
