Please note that the Companies Registry NI is to integrate with Companies House Cardiff on the 1st October 2009. The Companies Act 2006 will fully commence on this date and provide for a single company law regime across the whole of the United Kingdom.
Companies will be UK Companies rather than Great Britain or Northern Ireland companies. The same legislation will apply to all. As a consequence, Companies registry Northern Ireland will be fully integrated with Companies House, Cardiff on 1st October 2009. From this date Companies Registry Northern Ireland will transfer from Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment NI (DETINI) to Companies House, under the Department for Business Enterprise and Regulatroy Reform (BERR).
